I'm into the habit of posting longer chapters, nowadays.

It was a quiet evening, John and I were super depressed because of our math's homework, about 5 pages worth of questions. It was indeed quiet, so I decided to break the silence. Hey, so my Grandma's coming over this weekend. She lives in Europe, pretty cool huh? Hmm....?" I struggled as John awkwardly smiles at me. I can't think of anything else to say, so I then went on with "My mom's getting me a car for my 16th birthday, I was hoping you'd help me fix it up?" I continued. He still wouldn't budge! Jeez, what is up with him today? Suddenly, there was a doorbell, who could that be? I ran downstairs to open the door, and guess who came to crash "Hey Aly, mind if I join you guys to do homework?" asked Raf. I awkwardly nodded my head to him as we slowly went up to my room. Jeez, John will be more than happy to see Raf right? Pft, yeah right.
"Hey John, Raf's here." John nodded and gave a small hey. Raf sat down on the floor since me and John were working near my desk. And then my phone went off.
Cause the hardest part of this Is leaving you..
John looked surprised and shuffled slightly in his chair. Damn it..that line is my favorite .and describes my feels for him. "Huh.." I looked at my phone and it was from Albert.
Albert: Hey Aly.
Aly: Yeah?
Albert: Y'know, if John tries to hurt you, I'll kill him.
Aly: How sweet...don't worry, he's not going to try anything.
Albert: You sure?
Aly: Albert, don't be so protective.
Albert: Okay. Call me if you need me.
Aly: Byeeee.
I turned my phone off and looked at John, who was staring at the textbook in order to hide a blush. "My Chemical Romance..." he whispered.
I knew it...John liked them. "Yeah...I like them. They broke up last month." I was freezing, the blanket I was wearing not protecting me from the icy air in the room. Raf looked up and couldn't stop his eyes from looking me up and down, though he managed to hide it with a cool smirk. Besides, the heating was off, because the storm outside had done something with the electricity, and the gas.
"Oh you're so surreal." I smirked at Raf.
"Watch it Raf." a text message came to him from John.
"Shit." Raf hissed to himself.
Raf shook his head and looked at my notes. "It's sad My Chemical Romance broke up." he stated. "Are you into them?" I asked him. Raf shook his head. "No...but I do like their songs."
John started humming a song...what was it...oh right, Cancer by My Chemical Romance.
I started singing softly.
Aly: Help her gather all my things
And bury me in all my favorite colors
My sisters and my brothers, still
John: I will not kiss you
Cause the hardest part of this
Is leaving you
Raf stifled a laugh. I glared at him and threw the textbook at him. Raf looked down at his phone and I saw a text from him.
Raf: Sorry...
Aly: It's alright...
Raf: Can I have a hug.
Aly: Why the heck would you want one?
Raf: Please?
Aly: Oh alright.
I got off my phone, went down off the chair, and onto the floor. I hugged Raf warmly. He hugged me back. I tried letting go but he kept holding on to me. Damn you Raf. I thought. I lifted my hands from his back and took his hands off me. "You're welcome." I smirked.
Raf just rolled his eyes in reply. I sat back in my chair to see John drawing something on the paper, a ribbon with lyrics to Cancer around it. I had to see, since I couldn't resist. I took it off John and had a clearer look at it. "Niiiice." I spoke softly. John blushed and looked to Raf for help. Raf just smirked at him and shrugged.
John's POV
I got up and smiled at Aly. I could not resist it. So I put my arms around her from behind. Her hair smelt of my favorite fruit. I loved her...but she's with Justin.
